COACH BIO
Quanesha Clark
MA, QMHP
I have been practicing as a mental health professional since 2019 in community mental health, DCFS agencies, private practice, and local athletic organizations. I hold a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in sociology and a masters in counseling with a specialization in clinical mental health. My journey within the mental health field began during my collegiate career as a basketball player. I aided in supporting individuals with various mental issues surrounding sport at an all-sport university. Through my experience and coursework, I knew sport psychology was the career for me. I had some obstacles that I encountered in my high school career and was able to apply grit techniques (before I knew grit was a thing). Additionally, becoming injured during college allowed me to see the mental strain on athletes both on and off the court. I have helped many teams through mental performance skill training, such as team cohesion, anxiety, team environment strains, and identity. I have also aided in practices to help individuals with mental health diagnosis, such as ADHD, learn skills to implement when playing their respective sport.
